The Pendleton Heights Arabians moved to 15-4 on the season as they convincingly hammered the Muncie Bearcats at PHHS this evening. As a team, the Arabians blistered the nets as they hit 59% from 2 point range, 54% from 3 point range and 79% from the free throw line for the whole game. Even our bench outscored the Bearcat bench 36-10. Leading all scorers was Mark Albers with 21 points. Mark also pulled down 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Justin Shupe was up next with 17 points. The rims must have looked huge for Justin as he hit 3 of 6 from two point range, 3 of 3 from three point range and 2 of 3 from the free throw line. He also pulled down 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Also scoring in double figures was Karsten Windlan with 14 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 1 steal. The final double digit scorer was Brandon Helpling with 11 points on 5 of 7 from 2 point range and 1 of 1 from the free throw line. He also got 5 total rebounds. Eli Pancol finished the game with 8 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. Trent Miller was hot from the field as he scored 7 points, pulled down 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Dameion Warrum had a very solid game as he scored 4 points, 3 defensive rebounds, 1 blocked shot and 2 steals. Next up was Luke Drye and Christian Jones each 1 of 1 from 3 point range. Luke got 1 assist and 1 steal. Eston Stull and Clay Stout each scored 2 points. Eston also pulled down 5 total rebounds and got 6 assists and 3 steals. Clay got 1 rebound. The junior varsity game was a great game with a last second three point shot buried by Christian Conklin. The Arabians will have 2 days to prepare for their next opponent who will be a tough opponent. The game will be against Fishers at their place. Tip off for the junior varsity game is at 6:00.
