Arabians News · Girls swimmers to swim in state meet

The Pendleton Heights girls swim team will be represented at this weekend’s IHSAA State Finals.  Last Saturday, the girls broke four school records in the sectional at Hamilton Southeastern.  McKenna Jule broke the records in the 50 and 100 freestyles.  Jule was joined by Karly Riffey, Sarah Dudley, and Emma Robison to break the records in the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay.  All four record breaking swims also qualified for state, the most for Pendleton Heights since 2008.  Jule is seeded 20th in the 50 free and 17th in the 100 free.  The relays are seeded 24th and 26th in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay respectively.  The girls will swim at the state prelims on Friday starting at 6:00 PM at the IUPUI Natatorium.
