Arabians News · Cheer Seeking State Title


The Pendleton Heights High School cheerleaders will be looking for a second straight state title when they compete in the Indiana Cheer Championship State Finals.  The cheer team has already won competitions at the Indiana State Fair and the Hoosier Heritage Conference.  The team will be traveling to Orlando, Florida for a national competition this winter.

The Stunt team already claimed their ring at the State Championships a few weeks ago.

Coach Brenda Jamerson has been named named a finalist for the 2018 Indiana Cheer Coach of the Year Award.  Three finalists will be recognized during the Varsity State Finals competition on Saturday during the awards ceremony at approximately 8:15 p.m.  Coach Jamerson has led the cheer program to multiple HHC championships, 7 Stunt Group State Championships, 5 Team State Championships, and a National Championship.
