Arabians News · Cheer Finishes 2nd at Nationals

The Pendleton Heights Arabians cheer team traveled to Orlando, Florida this past weekend to compete in the Universal Cheer Association’s National High School Cheerleading Championships.  Following a great performance on Saturday, the Arabians ended with a stellar performance in the championship round to earn runner-up in the Medium Varsity Division I.

On Saturday, Pendleton Heights started the competition with a strong enough performance that sent them straight through to the final round.  It was the first time in five years that a Pendleton Heights team earned that feat.

On Sunday, the Arabians ended their competition with another great performance that resulted in zero deductions.

The 2nd place finish at the UCA National High School Cheer competition was the best finish in school history.  The Arabians had already claimed multiple championships this season including the Hoosier Heritage Conference and a State Championship for the 2nd straight year.
