Arabians News · Freshman Arabians Blank Cougars 27 – 0

Arabians 27, Cougars 0

For the first time in the 2020 season, the vaunted Freshman Arabian football offense went without scoring in the first half. No fear fans, for the freshman D held the Cougars of Greenfield scoreless and mustered a score of its own thanks to a 65 yard interception for six by linebacker Dresden Roberts. The second half began a tale of two halves at least for the Arabian attack. Ever-steady Isaac Wilson led an opening drive that was true to form. Finding security blanket Reese Reddington on several passes, Wilson capped the drive with a touchdown scamper.  The hussar himself led the charge for the final two scores-one a hand off to Eli Arthur who turned in a great three phase performance, and another a pitch and catch to Caden Sims for six. Jaythan Howard secured the second half defensive line along with Eli Libler, Bryant Davis, Skylar Conley, and Peyton Pollock. Outstanding performances were also donned by Garret Lowe and Dontrez Braxton. Dom Apo sealed the deal with a three for four performance on the point after tries. Your freshman Arabians move to four and zero and play host to the Dragons of New Palestine next Monday night at John Broughton Field.
