Arabians News · Arabians Overwhelm Tigers

Freshman 40, Tigers 0

In the fashion of a hurricane named Equus, the Arabians stormed the visiting Tigers Monday night putting up 32 in the first two frames. Starting the surge of scoring was Dontrez Braxton with a 20 yard scamper. After the ensuing kickoff, the Arabian D, an isobar of resistance, began a noteworthy display that allowed positive yards on only one Tiger possession. The first Tiger possession ended in a squibbed punt recovered and returned by Nick Trout. Following the possession change, Dresden Roberts rushed in a gale past the Tiger defense on fourth down to score. The tornado of touchdowns continued as signal caller Isaac Wilson tallied another with a score. The kick in the weather melee by Dom Apo was good. After another short defensive stand, Wilson gathered and found Caden Sims for a 15 yard pitch and catch for six. On the following play from scrimmage Roberts continued the high pressure defense on the Tiger attack with a scoop-score touchdown-the kick again good. Next, Clint Miller, Wesley Kupferer, and Peyton Pollock pressured the Tiger quarterback and forced an errant pass plucked from the air by defensive lineman Eli Libler. Opening the second half with more pressure, Libler pressured the Tiger attack, causing a fumble recovered by Eli Arthur. The fumble led to another Braxton touchdown scamper. The scoring on the night was capped by Reese Reddington after a botched snap on the final extra point try. Your Arabians round out the season as they travel to Roncalli High School Monday night.
