The Arabians hosted Saturday’s IHSAA Regional tournament at Pendleton Heights. Loaded with talent the goal of each wrestler is to get in the final 4 to move on to next weekend’s semi state tourney, and then place as high as possible to setup a good position for semi state parings. Eight Arabians qualified for the start of the day but only 4 would win their first match and continue. One Arabian – 220 pound Justin Stephens won a regional championship and will be one of four #1 seeds next week at the New Castle semi state.

The host Arabians were fifth in team standings with 64 points, with Anderson sixth (48) and Alexandria seventh (34). Cathedral was the overall winner with 255 points. Semi state will be held next Saturday, February 15th at New Castle and the feeder regionals are: North Montgomery, Pendleton Heights, Perry Meridian and Richmond.
