The Pendleton Heights Arabians added another trophy to their trophy case as they won the Madison County Tourney in a very convincing manner. They avenged an earlier season loss to the Anderson Indians and cut down the nets for the second year in a row. Their dominance continues. Leading all scorers was Dameion Warrum with 22 big points. He also managed 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 blocked shot and 2 steals. Justin Shupe was close behind with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Getting his second double double in the last two games was Eli Pancol with 17 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 1 steal. Luke Drye chipped in 9 points with 3 rebounds 3 assists and 1 steal. Trent Miller followed with 5 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Christian Jones rounded out the scoring with 1 point, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. The big stat was rebounding as the Arabians out rebounded the Indians 38-22. There were 3 lead changes and 7 ties. Next up for the Arabians is a trip to New Palestine next Friday night with the girls’ varsity game starting at 6:00 and the boys’ varsity shortly after. The junior varsity boys and girls will play at PHHS Thursday night.
