It would be great if we could have called a REDO for the first quarter as the talented Dragons scored at will while the Arabians struggled. Being down 14 points usually means everyone goes home at halftime. Not with this Arabian team as the second quarter saw the Arabians shoot themselves back in the game and only be down 4 points at halftime. The game was played relatively equal in the second half with the Dragons outscoring the Arabians by only 2 points. The Dragons outshot the Arabians 56% to 40% and that was it. The largest lead by New Palestine was 17 points in the first quarter. The rest of the game was a battle with 6 ties and 8 lead changes. The leading scorer for the Arabians was Tristan Ross with 19 points and 5 rebounds. He was followed by Dameion Warrum with a double double – 16 points and 10 rebounds. Next up was Christian Jones with 10 points and 4 assists. Davrick Black and Tristen Spinks each scored 8 points. Kamden Early and Ryan Noel each scored 2 points. Great game if you can forget the first quarter. Next up for the Arabians is a home game tomorrow night against Shelbyville.
