The Anderson Indians started the game with a strong effort and led 21-16 by the end of the first quarter. After that, the Pendleton Heights Arabians outscored the Indians in each of the remaining 3 quarters. Nine players saw some time on the court and seven of them scoring points. The leading scorer for the Arabians was Tristan Ross with 18 points. His best statistic was rebounds as he garnered 11 offensive rebounds and 16 defensive rebounds. He was followed by Jamison Dunham with 16 points with 12 of them behind the 3 point line. Next up was Davrick Black with 15 points, Luke Canadian with 7 points, Zion Cook with 6 points, and Kamden Early and Ethan Ross each scoring 2 points. The Junior Varsity also started the season with a victory as they led most of the game and managed to respond well to a furious Indian finish. Next up for the Arabians is another road trip as we head to Westfield to play the Shamrocks next Tuesday with the Junior Varsity tipping off at 6:00.
