The Arabian boys tennis team took a good overall win tonight in our 5th conference match.
Walker Stull dominated his opponent, mixing his shots up winning 60, 60. Seth Moore, at #2 singles, had a tougher time with Greenfield’s formerly #1 singles player. A lot of good points, but Seth prevailed 63, 62. Kaleb Alumbaugh also won 63, 62. The match had been decided, but not the final outcome. The #2 doubles team of Nick Vetor and Evan Bobb dropped their first set 61, before bouncing back 63, 63. At #1 doubles, the duo of Jackson McKinney and Caleb King took a bit longer but still won in 2 sets, 63, 75. They tried to play into a third set, but were able to put some strong points together to close out the match.
The team is now 6-3 on the season and with rainouts…..confidently could be sitting at 10-3.
We have Lapel on Thursday and close out conference play next week with New Castle and Delta.
