We followed up our meet on Saturday with another great performance last night. Last night saw the Arabians as winners of the 4×400 and the 4×800 relays. We had a great individual performance in the pole vault with Ethan Schitter getting 2nd in the pole vault. Finally the DMR team finished an outstanding 2nd . Again this week we had a lot of top ten performances.
In the 60m dash Connor Jamison ran a new PR of 7.4 and placed 10th
Seth Ledford ran a fast 9.4 in a race that he was the only underclassman in the 60H and a great finish of 5th
Again this week the 4×200 (Quiroga, Jamison, McClain, Ledford) was the most action filled race. This week freshman Caden McClain got introduced to track literally and physically when he was tripped from behind and did a barrel roll on the track. That didn’t phase him as he got right up and finished his leg of the relay and help the team to finish 9th.
The 4×800 (Wenning, Jones, Buck, Upton) won a competitive race against a good team in Brebeuf with a time of 8:22 that will put them in contention for a spot in the state meet.
In the 4x400m (Quiroga, Ledford, Upton, Jones) We ran a competitive race against Plainfield going back and forth until anchor leg Milan Jones closed out the race for the Arabian victory.
The DMR (Martin, Rodriguez, Harrington, Roan) closed out the meet with a second place finish against Southport. What a great way to end a meet.
High Jumpers Nate Spencer and Caden McClain finished 3rd and 5th
In the Pole Vault Ethan Schitter placed 2 and Anakin Allison was a solid 5th
Shot Put saw Grant Skinner place 7th and Andrew Harvey finish 10th
