Lady Arabians lose a hard fought game 58-50 to New Palestine who will play Anderson for the sectional title tomorrow night. The Arabians came out strong and led 16-12 after the 1st quarter. They took a 23-14 lead midway through the 2nd quarter. New Pal finished the half on a 15-0 run. The Arabians answered with a strong 3rd quarter and were down four, 39-35. The story of the game was 4 of the 5 starters fouled out for the Arabians, all in the 4th quarter. The 4th quarter was a one possession game for most of the quarter. Megan Mills did a great job leading the Arabians in scoring with 23 points. Aubree Dwiggins was keyed on to be stopped because she is the Arabians leading score, yet she still fought through for 9 points. Kylie Davis did an outstanding job of taking care of the ball, and put in 6 points with 2 of those coming from the free throw line. Gracie Conkling had a big “3,” and had 5 points. Kylea Lloyd did a great job battling inside all night, and put in 5 points. Whitney Warfel, who was the first of four starters who fouled out, ended up with 2 points. The Arabians finished with a winning season of 13-12.
