Jordan Benefiel threw a shutout to lead Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity past Shelbyville 7-0 on Monday.

Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity got on the board in the first inning. Gracie Conkling drove in three when she homered.

Benefiel led the Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity to victory in the pitcher’s circle. She lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out 13 and walking one.

Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game. Ally Hall, Kylie Davis, Conkling, and Kieli Ryan all managed multiple hits for Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity. Ryan, Conkling, Davis, and Hall each collected two hits to lead Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity. Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.

Arabians start the County Tournament tomorrow facing Alexandria at 5:30pm at Legends Field.
