Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity put up six runs in the third on its way to an 11-2 victory over Westfield on Wednesday. The offensive onslaught by Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity was led by Chloe Closser, Grace Scott, and Gracie Conkling, who all drove in runs.

Westfield fired up the offense in the first inning. Lexi Martin drove in two when she homered.

Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity pulled away for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third Closser singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, Scott singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run for Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity.

Jordan Benefiel led the Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity to victory in the pitcher’s circle. She lasted six innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out 11 and walking zero.

Pendleton Heights Arabians Varsity launched one home run on the day. Scott went deep in the sixth inning.
